Understanding reality
What is reality? according to the Wikipedia definition:
Reality (from the Latin realitas and this from res, "things") means in common use "everything that exists, independently of the conscience of the human being." More precisely, the term includes everything that is, whether or not perceptible, accessible or understandable by science and philosophy or any other system of analysis.
Well, now let's see how this reality interacts with us, there are two types of realities, the general reality that is everything that exists, even though it is outside the knowledge of man, and the subjective reality that is generated from the mind of the person as the beliefs, assumptions, judgments and opinions of the individual.
The human being perceives the world through his five senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch, all of them limited to a specific range of perception that I am not going to describe at this time, the senses transmit a series of data to the brain. in the form of electrical and chemical signals that it interprets and gives meaning to what is perceived, that is, general reality becomes relative due to the limited perception of man's senses and then, when interpreted by the brain, it becomes subjective by the observer.
What do I mean by this, that reality without going into philosophical thoughts, in its simplest form of interpretation, is not as we believe, reality is different for each person, each color, smell, taste, sound, touch, is filtered by its relative reality and interpreted by its subjective reality, although we all see the color green, and we know that it is green, we cannot know for sure if it is the same one that the other person sees, even if they also call it green.
Taking this clear and simple concept as a starting point, we will begin to walk little by little on the path of understanding reality, and we will tear the veil of illusion to try to see and understand what is really behind the apparent.
